Juan María Raso Llarás is a versatile cellist with an international career as both a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Das Neue Sinfonieorchester Berlin and the Kammerorchester Pforzheim, appearing in concert halls across Europe and Asia.
Passionate about chamber music, he has collaborated with distinguished musicians including the Ébène Quartet, Rainer Schmidt, and Cuarteto Casals.
After completing his Bachelor's degree in Spain, he continued his studies in Berlin at the Hanns Eisler School of Music, later earning Master's degrees with honors from the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg (HfM) and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (HMTM) while performing with the Yugen Trio. He also studied baroque music with renowned specialists such as Amandine Beyer and Jan Kunkel.
Today, he performs as a soloist and chamber musician with ensembles including the Rhapsody Quartet. In his spare time, he also enjoys teaching.
